"I began volunteering with the MCA, participating in events to promote the culture of my native country - Colombia through dance, cuisine and sharing ancient practices about child birth, motherhood and parenting on the show, “Meet the World in Wood Buffalo” on Shaw TV. All these activities have also facilitated my family’s integration and the integration of my own community. The MCA is a fantastic organization with great leadership in our community that facilitates the integration of different cultures by sharing knowledge and experiences from every corner of the planet and promoting respect and inclusion for all." - Cecilia Sara, Representative Colombianos en Fort McMurray
