We are currently looking for volunteers for the following events:

May 14, 15 - Casino Fundraiser. Various positions. Venue: Boom Town Casino. Afternoon or Evening. - 12 volunteers needed
June - Relay for Life. - 6 volunteers needed
July 1 - Canada Day. Event coordinators. - 20 Volunteers needed

History of MCA

In 1984, the Secretary of State met with members of cultural communities in Fort McMurray to determine how to meet the needs of a growing diverse Fort McMurray. An Ad Hoc Committee was formed and for a year, monthly community meetings discussed the purpose of a multicultural society. By 1985, the Multicultural Association mandate and future objectives were determined. The Multicultural Association of Fort McMurray (MCA) was granted society status in July.
